There are so many reasons to fall in love with Laguna Niguel, that it’s really hard to know where to begin. For starters, it arguably sits in one of the most perfect locations in Orange County in my opinion. It is 5 to 15 minutes to virtually anything and everything! I can hop in my car and be at the beach in 10 minutes from central Laguna Niguel. If I need to go to the Mission Viejo Mall, I can be there in 10 minutes as well. All of the bordering cities are some of the most popular and desirable in Orange County- Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Aliso Viejo, Nellie Gail, Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano.

One of my favorite destinations is the Laguna Niguel Regional Park. They have some of the best and most beautiful hiking trails around, and they are very popular with the locals as they allow dogs on the trails. Believe it or not, there is a rather large lake there, and it is fully-stocked with rainbow trout as well as other types of fish, but don’t expect to see me putting a worm on a hook in the near future!

I confess that I am a restaurant addict, and when I find ones that I really enjoy, you can almost certainly find me there at any given time, and the restaurants in Laguna Niguel are some of the finest and most unique in all of Orange County. From Italian to Mexican, Persian to Southwest American and everything in between, you will have no trouble whatsoever in pleasing your palette here. One of my favorites is the Savannah Chop House. It has some of the best steak around, offers live entertainment and has an ocean view as well.

It’s no secret to most parents that the schools here and in Orange County in general are arguably some of the best in the country. Combine that with one of the most desirable cities to live in, and you’ve got a virtual paradise in this gem of a city!
